For reference, #811 was created specifically to allow isolating default OSS `application.properties` from downstream builds. In my experience pulling `application.properties` from upstream artifacts into a downstream Quarkus build may to very obscure and hard-to-debug issues. I'd say it is best to avoid mixing `application.properties` from different projects and always maintain your own copy. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
