I have run the script and rebuilt the Helm chart on dist release. The previous Helm charts should be usable again. I suppose we can keep the bash script in `releasey/bin/` in case we need to regenerate the index in the future. I do not expect this to happen, but we never know (see below). The release workflows still need patching. At the moment, the Helm index is rebuilt as part of the 4th workflow **after** the previous Helm charts have been removed from dist release. So after the next release, the reported issue will be back. I am going to push some tentative workflow changes as part of this PR. This is untested code, and just to give an idea of what a more permanent solution could be.
