I did not know that much of the foundation for the git-like feature is already implemented (contributed by nessie?) to Polaris. Perhaps you can point us to the documentation for what is already done, and document (briefly) what the next logical step would be to approach exposure of some of this to end users? For community engagement and discoverability it is better to over-document and be generous with cross-linking issues, documentation etc, than to short-circuit public discussions and defer to in-person meetings for the few. I must admit that I have so far not tested Polaris, only Dremio + Nessie and Hive catalog. I want to look into Polaris and could perhaps contribute down the road. @97harsh perhaps you have more to share from your end.
