On desktops, the cog appears on the RHS of the menu line. However on mobiles, there is a blank space at the RHS, and the cog appears to the left of the login icon. This appears to be a feature of the width of the display. When a desktop display is narrowed, at some point the Settings cog is dropped from the RHS, leaving a space, and reappears to the left of the login icon -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
