DRY: there is quite a lot of duplication in the Javascript
The Javascript code has a lot of code duplication.
For example, the same calculation of d_ppp is repeated in:
site/js/dev/ponymail_listview_flat.js
site/js/dev/ponymail_listview_threaded.js
site/js/dev/ponymail_listview_tree.js
The code should be extracted and turned into a shared function.
