Do you want to bump up the hadoop dependency to 3.1.2 as well (over 3.1.1)?
+1 to what [~szetszwo] said about vetting this with an RC. Is the process to
release a new ratis-thirdparty clear? I'm not sure if I wrote sufficient
documentation the first time around :)
