Ratnasingam Kasthuriraajan commented on ROCKETMQ-379:

Hi yukon,

I have learnt  much more about AMQP and RocketMQ throughout these days. Now I
am learning about how to use a proxy server to support the protocols. I have
found the following  brokers support AMQP.

Now I am exploring that how AMQP works in the above mentioned brokers to o get
more understanding on it.

Same time I prepare the Proposal to GSOC2018 for this project. I have found
there is a  link  [[https://community.apache.org/gsoc.html] ] has a template to
apply GSOC2018 proposal. I have decided to use that and I request you to
suggest any additional features that I need to annex additionally with that.

I need your support on preparing an effective proposal and give an effective
contribution on this project .

Which is better way to discuss about the project further more[using this
comment section or a mail thread in dev@ mailing list] in your opinion?

If you suggest a suitable way, then we can discuss on the project plan and
timeline using that.

> The Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) is an open standard application
> layer protocol for message-oriented middleware. The defining features of AMQP
> are message orientation, queuing, routing (including point-to-point and
> publish-and-subscribe), reliability and security.
> Support AMQP protocol for RocketMQ has important significance, could expand
> RocketMQ ecosystem quickly.
> A feasible way is providing a proxy to support AMQP protocol.
