Our AS400 application exports files in Excel, which is an XML file renamed to XLS. MS Excel 2003/07/10 open it just fine. However CALC launches the text import box and no matter what I choose, it doesn't present properly. Renaming it to an xml extension yields different results. One file might come up fine. Another one will bring up the "IMPORT OPTIONS" box. Meaning formatting is screwed up AND data is missing..? This is not the same as 89332 or 109739... Tried renaming it to xlsm, xml.
