Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: File default printer not saved in specific case
Classification: Application
Product: Spreadsheet
Version: OOo 3.3
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: printing
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
QAContact: [email protected]
SUMMARY:
You cannot change the document default printer if you don't make any changes to
the document because save button is desactivated (as no modification have been
detected).
CASE:
You have two (or more) printers. In this example: printer A and printer B.
Open an existing spreadsheet with printer A as the document default printer.
Change the document default printer to printer B.
At this point, if you exit, you will not be prompted to save because no
modification have been detected. Next time you open the document, default
document printer will logically be printer A instead of the printer B.
MAC GYVER'S SOLUTION:
Open the file. Change the document default printer to printer B. Make a
modification with no consequence on the document (like add a space and remove
it). Save.
Next time you open the document, printer B will be the document default
printer.
NOTE:
Not to be confused between document default printer and system default printer.
