Thank you for opening, we'll give it a try! I don't have any experience with LTO in Rust...the size of the compressed Python wheel is probably the one users would see the most benefit from (downloaded on every pip install). We have a number of benchmarks we can use to check the effect on performance (`cd rust/sedona-geo && cargo bench` would be a good first place to check, although we also have the SpatialBench ones that we could check too). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
