Hmm, the rest under the "New Functions" section seem non-trivial. e.g ST_NumRings applies for MULTIPOLYGONs too, so if we wanted to implement it with lazy reading, we'd need to add logic for lazily iterating over the nested polygons. The same idea applies to ST_NumPoints, and even ST_Dimension's geom col case. Definitely not a priority. But I think these could all be resolved by adding an iterator method to iterate through all nested geometries' headers (e.g linestrings in geom cols and polygons in multipolygons).
