I was thinking of taking the still-unchecked `ST_NPoints` alias as a small standalone PR, leaving the `ST_NRings` item for a separate change because that function is not implemented yet. I’ll mirror the existing alias pattern, add the matching regression coverage, and keep the diff limited to that alias.
