[~akolb] Yes. You are right about the only difference: "keeping the hash in the
path change table rather then notificationId table". The benefit is for code
supportability. It is easier to understand the code and its behavior in this
way. Hash is calculated based on entry in path change table, so it is nature to
put the hash column in that table. If we put hash in notificationID table, it
is hard for new developer to understand where does that value come from.
