If you are using recent versions of Firefox and Chrome then they should both
be using the WPM transport and will use the same code. Can't think of any
reason why Firefox would fail but Chrome succeed. How can 'window.parent' be
null inside of an iframe?
You might try debugging on both browsers and see where the difference is.
