### Search before asking - [X] I had searched in the [issues](https://github.com/apache/shiro/issues?q=is%3Aissue) and found no similar issues. ### Documentation Related I'm interested in implementing distributed caching so sessions can continue if, for example, Server A goes down for maintenance and the load balancer transfers the user's next request to Server B. Many years ago I recall that Shiro 1.x supported ehCache to do this.
