To be clear, my callous "who cares" was only about cluster init and not
Collection create/delete that you refer to in your response. Any way, sounds
like a welcome improvement!
I was unable to find the ZK recipe you referred to with a quick search but
perhaps a Curator
[Barrier|https://curator.apache.org/curator-recipes/barrier.html] can be used?
