Jan Høydahl commented on SOLR-15275:
------------------------------------
We've now had the GA tracking for 6 months, and it has provided some insight
into the PMC split as well as use of the new Operator. But I think it's time to
stop tracking now.
We can use [https://uls.apache.org/exports/solr.apache.org.yaml] instead for
some limited insight, and work with INFRA for whatever more we should need.
> Remove Google Analytics from Solr site

> Priority: Major
>
> We have been tracking site usage for some weeks to learn about users
> (SOLR-15189), but long term we want to be tracking-free. This JIRA is about
> removing GA from site and establishing a non-tracking way of analyzing
> website and download traffic. We can then also change the privacy policy page.
