So if I understand this right then direct rolling upgrades from 8.5 to 9.x
would not be possible anymore, correct?
The [https://solr.apache.org/guide/8_10/solr-upgrade-notes.html#solr-8-5] entry
has a _"Keep in mind that this will be removed in future version of Solr."_
reminder, perhaps the Solr9 upgrade notes could 'close the loop' by mentioning
the removal also.
