This issue seems to have been reverted; there is no CHANGES.txt note for this
issue and I don't see some of the original code/changes anymore. Then it was
redone in SOLR-14404, shipped in 8.6. I marked these as duplicates. Unless
Noble disagrees (I may be wrong on my understanding of what happened), we can
close this one.
