LRUCache is deprecated as of 8.4 (removed as of 9.0), and subsequent changes on
the 8x branch may have uncovered issues in LRUCache that would be best
addressed by upgrading to CaffeineCache. Would you be willing to try upgrading
to CaffeineCache and report back whether that fixes the issue?
The upgrade can be accomplished by changing the cache config (in
solrconfig.xml) to change the {{class="solr.LRUCache"}} attribute to
{{class="solr.CaffeineCache"}}; removing the attribute entirely should also
work.
