HttpClient? Standard java io ? plenty of ways to make a raw http request
already exist? Maybe if you clarify how this is better than those the value
will become clear.
And let's discuss what object creation could be trimmed from the response
objects? Would be good to know what's at issue there so that it can be clear
that a new request is actually beating it and have some idea of "by how much"
so that trade-off decisions can be made by users.
Of course if there's something silly in the response objects we should fix that
too.
