Maybe another way to speed up our tests would be to add a small wait in 
\{{CollectionAdminRequest.processAndWait(String, SolrClient, long)}} between 
the processAsync and the waitFor calls. Typically this will complete in maybe 
100 millis or so, and if we give the initial buffer there before trying our 
first wait, we wouldn't have to delay for a full second each time?
