Hello - if no one else is currently working through this sub-task, I'd like to
volunteer to implement it. From what I gather, this ticket is just for the
three core APIs, so I'll focus on those. I've read through the some of the
discussion on the parent ticket's thread, have already done a little poking
around in the CoreAdminHandler, and I think I see where the changes need to be
made.
