My recollection is that 4 years ago the idea of moving to curator in general
was just an idea, and not agreed upon, and there was resistance to the idea of
a partial conversion leaving us with more ways of doing things not less. This
feature was contemporary with our initial work on TRAs, which also didn't use
Curator.
