Thanks @DennisBerger1984! There is a smell related to multiMatchTie - https://github.com/querqy/querqy/issues/384. This FieldBoost implementation should be used under the hood with multiMatchTie under certain conditions and be referenced from queries and it misses hashcode/equals (though I cannot see SingleFieldBoost in your object graph). It should still result just in a cache miss and not trigger a loop.
