Updating Aliases and updating collections are independent but both to guard
against a very similar situation -- what if the ZkStateReader view of the node
receiving this request is out of date. Either an alias or a collection might
exist by this name.
Perhaps updating all collection names is too slow... but it could be done
similarly to how you tweaked the aliases -- to check the stat/version first.
