594, which is the PID of the stop script, which sleeps in a loop of 2 seconds.
ok cool thanks @janhoy most likely SOLR_PID is getting set wrong somehow.
One of these invocations:
```
# git grep -nF stop_solr
solr/bin/solr:840:function stop_solr() {
solr/bin/solr:905:} # end stop_solr
solr/bin/solr:1858: stop_solr "$SOLR_SERVER_DIR" "$port"
"$STOP_KEY" "$NEXT_PID"
solr/bin/solr:1879: stop_solr "$SOLR_SERVER_DIR" "$port"
"$STOP_KEY" "$CHECK_PID"
solr/bin/solr:1939: stop_solr "$SOLR_SERVER_DIR" "$SOLR_PORT" "$STOP_KEY"
"$SOLR_PID"
```
