Ouch.
bq. If we are concerned about module size, it's probably best to ship a
solr-slim.tgz (that does not include any modules) and a solr.tgz (that includes
all of the modules).
100% agree. I'll comment more on this once I revisit some of the older plans I
had discussed with [~noblepaul] on the subject. I think it is time to slim down
the distributable, not bloat it up.
