@markrmiller it is optional in the sense that you can leave the default CollectionsHandler (i.e. NOT configure this special CollectionsHandler) in your `solr.xml`. Should this be guarded also by an additional config property? Re. configuration ... I can move it to `KafkaCrossDcConf` but it's already somewhat messy because many config properties and the whole mechanism of reading env / sysprops should be moved from `KafkaCrossDcConf` to `CrossDcConf` ... but that's something for a separate PR. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
