[~mkhl] I see you closed as Won't-Fix but [~magibney] seems to have taken it
over; I think we forgot about it. I'm +1 to remove async=false if that helps.
It's semantically un-observable so it could be done in a minor release, I
think. But since timeAllowed doesn't support async; there is still a problem
to fix.
