One thing that's important is configuration of the number of threads to be used
for querying. There are several options:
a) Per collection configuration
b) Global configuration (core container based thread pool, as in the current
patch)
c) Request time configuration (possibly overriding any global defaults)
I'm thinking (a) is not the best, and thinking of a combination of (b) and (c)
here.
