If a user isn't using the V2 API with SolrJ (it's experimental / in-flux /
insufficiently tested, after all), can such a user simply exclude the solr-api
JAR, and thus not include Jackson? CC [~gerlowskija]. Even if SolrJ's future
is linked to Jackson, it'd be a shame to tie us down to the implications of
that in the years before V2 is ready.
