Should also cover POST /api/metrics/collector, but I'm not familiar with
metrics upload

Actually... I can't find anything about /api/metrics/collector in current
"main" (Solr 11+). The closest thing is OpenTelemetry Collector, but that
imports from Solr metrics to OpenTelemetry, if I read correctly.
