Dusted this off with Claude; things have been renamed/changed since when I last touched this. Also, I updated the ref guide to have a dedicated opentelemetry page to avoid re-discussing aspects in metrics & tracing. It's a bit of a misnomer to title this as "Allow OTEL Java Agent" because it's already allowed, albeit with an ugly ClassNotFoundException that can be ignored.
