## What Adds `docs/clients/chatgpt.md` and links it from the README, the client index and the tutorial. ChatGPT differs from the other clients: it connects to a *remote* MCP server over streamable HTTP in developer mode, so there is no STDIO / JAR / Docker-launch setup. The guide covers running the server from the JAR or Docker image in HTTP mode, exposing it over HTTPS (tunnel), and adding it in ChatGPT. It is explicit about the limits: - ChatGPT supports only OAuth 2.1 or no authentication, not static bearer tokens or custom headers. - Solr MCP's secured mode is built around a pre-issued JWT and does not answer an anonymous `/mcp` request with `401`, so ChatGPT's OAuth flow has nothing to start from. The guide says secured use is not supported yet, and warns against exposing an unsecured server beyond a short demo. ## Why ChatGPT is a common MCP client and users asked how to connect it. The setup steps follow OpenAI's developer-mode docs, linked from the page. ## Testing `./gradlew build` passes. The change is documentation only. I did not connect a live ChatGPT account. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
