adityamparikh opened a new pull request, #253:
URL: https://github.com/apache/solr-mcp/pull/253
## What
- Retakes the six MCP Inspector screenshots in `images/` against the current
server, and adds one new one (`mcp-inspector-http-oauth-headers.png`) showing
where the bearer token goes.
- Adds a **Screenshots** section to the README: the Claude Desktop
screenshot shown directly, and the Inspector screenshots in a collapsible
`<details>` block so the README stays scannable.
## Why
The old screenshots showed camelCase tool names (`checkHealth`,
`listCollections`), a `solr-mcp-server-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar`, core names
(`films_shard1_replica_n1`) instead of collection names, and the Inspector
v0.17 UI. They had also not been referenced anywhere since the README was
slimmed in #151.
## How they were captured
All from a jar built off `main`, against `compose.yaml`'s Solr with the
`films` sample (1,100 docs), driven in MCP Inspector v2.9.0:
| Image | Shows |
|---|---|
| `mcp-inspector-stdio.png` | STDIO server entry (`java -jar
…/solr-mcp-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar`), connected |
| `mcp-inspector-http.png` | `check-health` on `films` over Streamable HTTP |
| `mcp-inspector-http-oauth-headers.png` | Settings → Custom Headers with
`Authorization: Bearer …` |
| `mcp-inspector-http-oauth-success.png` | `search` with a token from the
repo's Keycloak realm (`keycloak/solr-mcp-realm.json`) |
| `mcp-inspector-http-oauth-failure.png` | Same call without a token:
`Access Denied` |
| `mcp-inspector-list-resources.png` | `solr://collections` →
`["books","films"]` |
| `mcp-inspector-resource-completion.png` | `solr://{collection}/schema`
completing `fi` → `films` |
`claude-stdio.png` is unchanged.
