Unless there's a really compelling need (i.e. a security issue, the functionality is completely broken in 10x and misleading folks, some large concrete maintenance cost), I'd vote to keep this on 11 only. For all the normal reasons: backcompat breaks annoy users, make it harder for folks to adopt upgrades within their current major version, etc. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
