Answered in-thread and confirmed working: node selectors are set separately for the Solr pods (`customSolrKubeOptions.podOptions.nodeSelector`, documented at https://solr.apache.org/guide/operator/latest/solr-cloud/solr-cloud-crd.html) and for the provided ZooKeeper cluster (`zookeeperRef.provided.zookeeperPodPolicy.nodeSelector`, documented at https://solr.apache.org/guide/operator/latest/solr-cloud/zookeeper.html). On the suggestion to default to `kubernetes.io/os: linux` — we'd rather not inject a node selector users didn't ask for, since it affects scheduling on every cluster to help the small number running mixed-OS nodes.
