Answered: the operator's generated Ingress can't serve Solr under an arbitrary sub-path, because the operator assumes the `/solr` context path when addressing nodes. The workaround the reporter landed on is the right one — turn off the operator's external addressability and bring your own Ingress resource. Closing as answered.
