John-Michael Reed commented on SPARK-15015:
-------------------------------------------

No. Scala has macros. At compile the macros substitutes in the file name,
line number, etc. The only thing the IDE does is highlight it. Please see:
https://github.com/JohnReedLOL/scala-trace-debug

This feature would help me immensely as being able to jump to all the files
and line numbers in order allows me to trace the execution of the source
code in my head.
