Sean Owen commented on SPARK-13382: ----------------------------------- I can change the wiki. I don't know if we have a clear theory about what goes in the wiki vs docs, but I assume we try not to duplicate and that the wiki is more for miscellaneous information, more docs for the project community / devs rather than the project. In this case, if this is already documented in the main docs, and it should be, is that enough? does it need to be repeated on the wiki? I'm not sure why the bit about testing R code is on the wiki since that's also redundant. i could just remove those instead to resolve it. > Update PySpark testing notes > ---------------------------- > > Key: SPARK-13382 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-13382 > Project: Spark > Issue Type: Documentation > Components: Documentation, PySpark > Reporter: holdenk > Assignee: holdenk > Priority: Trivial > Fix For: 2.0.0 > > > As discussed on the mailing list, running the full python tests requires that > Spark is built with the hive assembly. We should update both the wiki and the > build instructions for Python to mention this. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@spark.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@spark.apache.org
