[~ijuma] I could be wrong, but I think Mark was talking about 0.9 vs waiting
for 0.10. That's hopefully a moot point since 0.10 is released.
If people aren't interested in trying this code out until it's published
somewhere... I think the question of what to publish when/where is largely
political or organizational at this point. Reynold was reluctant to consider
this for spark 2.0, but that was before kafka 0.10 was officially released. I
don't know if that changes things.
