[~davies] I am working on some code refactoring for HiveServer2 to make it a
more generic service. I noticed that you have made a bunch of customizations on
Spark thrift server code (which was copied from hive 1.2.1). Can you briefly
explain why you removed the service discovery code and disable the delegation
token related APIs? Is it because there is no need for these functionalities
for Spark server?
Your feedback would be very beneficial to help us make HS2 a general-purpose
service. Thanks!
