Summary: Expose spark.range() as table-valued function in SQL

The idea here is to create the spark.range( x ) equivalent in SQL, so we can do
something like
{noformat}
select count(*) from range(10000)
{noformat}
This would be useful for sql-only testing and benchmarks.
