Note also that a config based documentation option would allow Spark to pick
this feature up on Hadoop 2.7.x+, as all you'd need to do is deploy with
core-site.xml, or a spark.hadoop option set to declare the relevant schemas. As
s3n, s3a, EMR s3 , azure and google cloud all materialize the PUT in close(),
all spark needs is the information, not any changes in the object store
filesystem clients.
