[~cloud_fan] , I implemented a few methods ( getInt, getLong, getBoolean) in
this pr here: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/19902
Can you please look if this is what you wanted to accomplish for this task. If
this is ok, I am happy to implement the other getFloat, getDouble as well.
Please share your thoughts/comments. Thanks.
