Is it really required to append the result with the input dataframe? Because 
with the existing implementation, i can able to get the desired output with my 
fix.

 

For eg:

      id       neighbor          similarity                               

       1       [ 2, 3, 4, 5]    [ 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0]  

       6     [  7, 8 , 9, 10]   [1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0]  

 

Output in *spark.ml*  (With my fix)

     id prediction
     1         0
     2         0
     3         0
     4         0
     5         0
     6         1
    7          1
    8           1
    9          1
  10          1
