I am asking this to set the goal for this JIRA as of the current status and
make a progress on this. I left some comments here because to me it looked
[~q79969786]'s try is kind of a new fact arrived here to be considered.
If publishing Hive is still preferred to get through here for any reason, I
will help go with Saisai's patch in HIVE-16391. If keeping the fork and upgrade
could be set as a goal for now, I will try to help go with Yumming's way and
make a fix to the fork.
Which one do you prefer?
