Suggestion to add in spark is to support optimised function with codegen which
will help community. This looks more common function used widely. Vectorized
udf will definitely help for python. In a longer run, as lot of databases like
Postgres adding Geo datatypes and functions, may be spark can also think about
having Geo datatypes and related functions.
