Spark releases are few and far between, and Java LTSes even more so. _Iff_ the 
effort to enable Java 17 on Spark 3.2 is reasonable, I would suggest to 
backport the changes, so that users who have been waiting to move to the next 
Java LTS don't have to spend ~6 month or more choosing either the newest spark 
_or_ the most recent Java LTS.
